ABOUT

Pathologix started with the main premise of providing answers and closure to families on how and why their loved one passed.  Our philosophy has always been to explain difficult medical findings to families utilizing a scientific approach, but in a simple and compassionate way.

Dr. John Feczko
Founder, M.D./Ph.D.

Dr. Feczko received his undergraduate B.A. degree in Biology at Wabash College and attended Indiana University Medical School-combined M.D./Ph.D. program, receiving his Ph.D. in Human Anatomy and his Medical Degree. Dr. Feczko completed his Pathology residency at Indiana University Medical School and is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology, and fellowship-trained in Forensic Pathologist. Dr. Feczko also is an Associate Professor at Indiana University-Northwest Campus, where he teaches general pathology and forensic pathology to Indiana University Medical Students.

Dr. Wang
M.D., Forensic Pathologist

Dr. Wang is Fellowship-trained in Baltimore, MD, and is board-certified in Anatomic Pathology. While at Baltimore, Dr. Wang performed over 2000 autopsies, including over 200 homicides. For the last three years, Dr. Wang has performed autopsies for the Lake County Coroner, which average around 575 autopsies per year and 85 homicides per year. He has vast experience in Forensic Pathology, with a speciality in pediatric and blunt force trauma cases.

Sean Fitzpatrick
Autopsy Assistant

Sean Fitzpatrick is a certified Medicolegal Death Investigator, deputy coroner and owner of Autopsy and Death Care Assistance, LLC. Sean has worked side be side with board certified pathologists in northwest Indiana and northern Illinois for over 10 years in addition to serving multiple Indiana counties as a deputy coroner. The standard of professionalism and attention to detail that he displays has been recognized by many in the industry.
